Job Description: 

 

Speech Language Pathology provides a comprehensive assessment, management and treatment programs for those clients referred with known or suspected speech, language or voice disorders.

 

Speech Language Pathologists in NH work in the following settings:

 

Public Health:

 

 

  • Preschool & some adults
  • Collaborate with child development centers, Aboriginal Headstarts, Infant Development Programs, Supported Child Development programs
  • Comprehensive family-centered speech language services

 

Acute Care:

 
  • Adults & elderly
  • Critical member of multidisciplinary rehab team
  • Work with variety of disorders: dysphasia, voice, stroke, brain injuries, progressive conditions, etc
